Frequently asked questions
Anywhere (well, almost)! You can park your tiny home on private land in both rural and suburban settings. Your own property is the simplest solution, but also consider asking friends and family or leasing a plot of land. Most caravan parks also offer space and utility connection, as do the Tiny Home Communities starting to pop up around the country. There is no Australia-wide or statewide governance on where tiny homes on wheels can go, so check with your local council if in doubt.
Your tiny home can be plugged in using an electrical power lead, just like a caravan. You won’t need an electrician, just an extension lead! It also comes standard with a garden hose plug connection. It is your responsibility to obtain the services of a qualified plumber and council permits to connect to sewerage or septic tank. Want to stay off-grid? We offer the option of solar systems at an additional cost (these can also be added later), as well as compostable toilets and rainwater storage tanks and pumps.
Our homes are fully custom — from the entire layout to the smallest detail. Whether you need wider hallways, extra bedrooms, wheelchair access, or a space designed for older parents, we can tailor everything to your lifestyle. Choose your own layout, flooring, cabinetry colours, paint, exterior materials, and optional extras like solar power, water tanks, and compost or incinerating toilets.
